Hi! My name is Anya, nice to meet you!
Welcome to my website! It’s a new endeavour for me. I started it with the help of my resident tech guy (who also happens to be my husband - I sing his praises in my memoir) to support my new career as a writer. I am an amateur blogger and writer, momming two minions as my day job. My memoir, Letters to the Mountain, was self-published back in May of 2019. I work from home, writing and learning.
I am a child of the eighties*, wife and mom of two living in Port Moody, BC. You can get the whole story of how my three favourite people came into my life in Letters to the Mountain, available on Amazon or through me!
*Let's take a minute to appreciate the feathered hair and bibbed dress. May they rest in peace.
I grew up in northern BC, in a town called Prince George. I left when I was just a baby at 20 years old when I moved to North Vancouver for school and have found my home here in the lower mainland of BC.
We are a completed family of four that enjoy getting out as much as we can and exploring this beautiful area of the world we live in. We have a family dog (Eddie), seasons tickets to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, a tent trailer for camping in the summer time and a wanderlust that outweighs our pocketbook. I have always been a crafty person, a writer and a soccer fan (formerly player). I love yoga, wine, Nintendo and my friends and family. To name a few things.
I’m not quite sure what my website and blog are going to bring you, but hopefully you can get to know me a little better! Email me or find me on social media if you have any questions or comments! I’d love to create a positive and welcoming environment here!
Talk soon,
Anya
